My First Post - Lucky Phil

This is the first of what I hope are many posts. My intention is to encourage discussion and comments on the concept that life is what you make of it...that good luck is often the result of hard work....that the cup should be considered half full, rather than half empty.

My proposition is that most of what lies ahead for us, our fate and our life, is determined by what we do.

As you might be able to tell, I believe that we should take action for ourselves, make the most of our lives through trying to do the best that we can, rather than sitting back and complaining. I will attempt to obtain articles, comments, sayings and opinions that explore this. Hopefully, the blog will be a balanced view and not just a one-sided rant.
