As they say, better late than never! It's been a few days since I have posted, MOSTLY through my own doing but also as a result of a PC crash at a most inopportune moment - 95% into a post and LATE at night. So, rather than re-post, I just went to bed. Yawn...!
And so to today. First day of the working week and, blissfully, a day in the home office. How refreshing to attack the paperwork from the comfort of your own home. Interruptions of dogs, rain on the washing and the occasional chat with the boys were a pleasant distraction from the usual paper shuffle.
In a busy work life, a break in the routine, no matter how insignificant, can be a wonderful and energising thing. We get easily stuck in our usual rut and almost forget that we need to stop once and a while. Today, I stopped, breathed and enjoyed a rest, of sorts.
Nice to feel rested and ready for another day at the office tomorrow!
